About Trevor
Trevor has nearly four years of experience working in the behavioral health field, supporting individuals with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Before entering behavioral health, he spent seven years in leadership and operations, regularly working alongside individuals experiencing homelessness, addiction, and mental health challenges. Those experiences strengthened his communication, crisis management, and leadership skills while reinforcing his commitment to helping others.
Witnessing the impact addiction and mental health challenges have on individuals and families inspired Trevor to pursue a career in behavioral health. By combining lived experience with professional training, he is dedicated to helping clients recognize their strengths, overcome obstacles, and build meaningful, lasting recovery.
Treatment Approach
Trevor’s approach is client-centered, compassionate, and strengths-based. He incorporates evidence-informed practices, including motivational interviewing, collaboration, and practical problem-solving, while meeting clients where they are in their recovery journey. He believes meaningful change begins with trust, respect, accountability, and genuine human connection.
Education
Trevor holds Associate degrees in Psychology and Human Services with a concentration in Addiction Studies, along with a Certificate of Achievement in Addiction Studies from Long Beach City College. He is continuing his education and preparing to transfer to California State University, Long Beach to complete his bachelor’s degree in Psychology. His academic focus has centered on addiction, mental health, and human behavior, providing a strong foundation for supporting individuals throughout the recovery process.

Outside the Office
Outside of work, Trevor is a proud father who enjoys spending quality time with his family. He enjoys surfing, fishing, staying active in the gym, and spending time outdoors. He values discipline, accountability, and consistency—qualities that guide both his personal life and the support he provides to those he serves.
