About Kathleen
Kathleen is a Case Manager with nearly two years of experience in behavioral health, progressing from Behavioral Health Technician to Detox Technician and now Case Manager. Her experience has given her the opportunity to support individuals at different stages of the recovery process.
Kathleen’s commitment to this work is deeply personal. A member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 28 years, her own experiences with recovery and profound personal loss shaped her desire to advocate for people struggling with addiction, trauma, and emotional pain. Today, she is passionate about helping others recognize their value and build meaningful lives in recovery.
Treatment Approach
Kathleen takes a psychoeducational approach grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), helping clients better understand the connections between trauma, addiction, and substance use. She emphasizes education and curiosity, encouraging clients to better understand their experiences and explore those insights further with their therapists.
Education
Kathleen completed Addictions Counseling Studies through Health Staff Training Institute. She is a Registered Alcohol and Drug Technician (RADT) and is currently preparing to test for the Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) certification.
