I was accepted in to 12 south 2 years ago and absolutely thrived. I started building meaningful connections with others in recovery and started to become the man iI wanted to be. Since then I have accomplished many things and. A couple months ago I decided that i needed a little more therapy because Its always better to have a professional to talk to. I knew exactly where I was going to go. Their therapists and clinicians are very knowledgeable and the have a wide range of different knowledge when it comes to recovery. The housing is clean and there is fellowship. Words can’t express how grateful i am for 12 south. They have played a huge roll in my success.

I feel truly grateful and thankful for the staff and facility for changing my life. I entered to do 90 days and ended up almost 5 months because it is what I needed. I felt supported with both case management and my personal therapist. I was given the tools I needed to be successful. I left feeling prepared to take on my life again and support from facility if needed. If you want to change your life and willing to do the work and take suggestion this is where freedom from addiction can be found. Hi, I just wanted to take a minute to thank 12 South Recovery for saving my life. My whole life was a total wreck and I was super scared of going to treatment. First, thank you to Tj and Sean for calming my nerves. They were the first ones who helped me admit and get settled. I would also like to thank my therapist and case manager for helping me open up and face things head-on for the first time Ever! The therapy was top notch and the staff made you feel like they genuinely cared and rooted for your success.

The staff. I’ve never seen staff at a treatment center work as hard as they do to make sure that all of the clients are well taken care of. Every time you’re struggling with something, they always pull you aside and look for all the ways they can help, make light of your situation, and help you resolve your issues. Which was very important for me because I was facing heavy criminal charges, along with the emotional trauma from the wreckage of my past and bridges I’ve burned. As cliche as it sounds, I came out the other side with a complete new life than I had. Failure was never an option for anyone who works at 12 South.

Our daughter has been to countless treatment centers so I would like to think my wife and I have seen it all. The day our daughter arrived, we received a phone call from her case manager introducing themselves as the point of contact going forward. From there we knew our daughter was right where she needed to be. We gained an overwhelming sense of peace. There was no smoke and mirrors from the admissions representative, and everything they assured would happen did.

Therapy Plans We Offer

One-on-one Therapy

Clients in both our mental health and addiction treatment programs benefit from one-on-one sessions with their assigned therapist. Our knowledgeable and licensed therapists work with clients to develop a treatment plan according to each individuals needs.

CBT Therapy

Clients learn to recognize and change negative beliefs, emotions, and actions. CBT therapy is beneficial for those suffering from addiction, and for treating a variety of mental health disorders. It has been shown to be as effective as medication in adults with moderate to severe depression.

EMDR Therapy

Originally designed to alleviate stress from trauma, EMDR therapy has found widespread adoption in mental health and addiction treatment. EMDR therapy helps client’s to resolve disturbing life experiences and trauma.

Group Therapy

In group therapy, clients meet under the guidance of one or more licensed therapists or drug counselors to discuss and process any issues they are having. Group therapy sessions provide a number of benefits, cover a range of topics, and the format varies depending on the objective of the group.

Holistic Therapies

Holistic therapies are carefully selected to meet the needs of clients in recovery. 12 South Recovery isn’t limited to the office or talk-therapy. We integrate yoga, massage, acupuncture, gym facilities, art therapy, into recovery. We focus on healing the mind, body, and spirit.

Relapse Prevention

Relapse prevention helps clients in our addiction and dual-diagnosis treatment programs to identify their triggers that lead to relapsing on drugs or alcohol. Relapse prevention also teaches coping skills necessary to deal with situations which are stressful or lead to a strong desire to use drugs or alcohol.
